Privacy Policy for Experience Last updated: May 16, 2026 This Privacy Policy explains how Experience (“the App”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) handles information. Experience is designed as a productivity, focus, notes, to-do, calculator, and personal progress app with a local-first privacy approach. We do not sell your data. We do not use third-party advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, third-party crash analytics, or cross-app tracking. Most app data is stored on your device. Some supported app data may also be automatically backed up using Apple iCloud/CloudKit when iCloud is available and enabled on your device. 1. Contact For privacy questions or data requests, you may contact: Ali Yiğit Email: aliyigxt@icloud.com 2. Data the App may process Experience may process the following data depending on the features you use. 2.1 Profile data The App may store: - First name - Last name - Username - Optional profile image - App settings - Onboarding status - Terms and privacy acceptance status Your profile image is stored locally and is not included in the app’s iCloud backup. 2.2 Productivity and focus data The App may store: - Focus sessions - Focus duration - Breaks - Streaks - Level and progress - Daily focus records - Productivity history - Local ProAnalyze results This data is used to show your progress, statistics, summaries, and productivity insights. 2.3 Notes and to-do data If you use Notes or To-Dos, the App may store: - Notes you create - Text content - To-do items - Subtasks - Dates and reminder times - Completion status - Images or files you choose to add inside the App This data is used to provide note-taking and task-management features. 2.4 Camera and selected photo data The App may request access to the camera or selected photos only when you use related features, such as: - Choosing a profile photo - Adding an image to a note - Scanning a document - Saving or using an image inside the App The App accesses only the photo or image you select. It does not scan your full photo library. 2.5 Notifications If you allow notifications, the App uses local notifications for reminders such as focus sessions, breaks, and to-dos. The App does not use push notification servers and does not upload notification tokens to any server. 2.6 Subscription data Experience uses Apple StoreKit for subscriptions. Purchases, renewals, refunds, billing, taxes, pricing, and payment details are handled by Apple App Store and StoreKit. We do not receive, process, or store your payment card information. The App may store a local subscription entitlement state to unlock Pro features. 2.7 iCloud backup data Experience automatically backs up supported app data using Apple iCloud/CloudKit when iCloud is available and enabled on your device. This may include supported app data such as: - Profile text fields - Username - App settings - Focus progress - Focus sessions - Productivity records - Notes and to-do related data - Local account/profile state Your profile image is not included in the iCloud backup. If you delete your local account/app data inside Experience, the App attempts to delete related iCloud backup data as well. However, if deletion is performed while the device is offline or iCloud is unavailable, immediate iCloud deletion cannot be guaranteed. In that case, you may also manage or delete related iCloud data through your Apple ID/iCloud settings where available. 2.8 Leaderboard data The leaderboard is optional and requires user participation. If you choose to join the leaderboard, the App may send limited leaderboard data to Apple CloudKit, such as: - Username/display username - Level - Last update date This data is used to show ranking information. Because leaderboard information may be visible inside the leaderboard feature, you should not use a username that contains sensitive personal information. If you do not join the leaderboard, leaderboard data is not created for you. 2.9 ProAnalyze data ProAnalyze works locally on your device. Your notes, to-dos, productivity data, or personal content are not sent to an external server for ProAnalyze processing. 3. Data we do not collect or use Experience does not use: - Third-party advertising - Third-party analytics - Third-party crash analytics - Cross-app tracking - Data brokers - Selling of personal data - External ProAnalyze processing servers - Push notification servers - A custom backend account system The App does not provide a real server-based account. The profile/account inside the App is a local app profile, although supported data may be backed up through Apple iCloud/CloudKit. Apple may separately process App Store, iCloud, CloudKit, StoreKit, diagnostics, and purchase-related information according to Apple’s own privacy practices and user settings. 4. How we use data We use data only to: - Provide app features - Save your app state - Personalize your local profile - Show focus and productivity progress - Manage notes and to-dos - Schedule local reminders - Provide automatic iCloud backup and restore - Support optional leaderboard participation - Verify subscription access through Apple StoreKit - Restore app data after reinstalling or changing devices, where iCloud supports it We do not use your data for advertising or tracking. 5. Legal bases for processing If you are in the European Union, European Economic Area, or the United Kingdom, we rely on the following legal bases where applicable: 5.1 Contract We process data necessary to provide the App features you use, such as notes, to-dos, focus sessions, settings, subscription access, and local profile functionality. 5.2 Consent We rely on your consent for permissions and optional features such as: - Camera access - Selected photo access - Notifications - Optional leaderboard participation You can withdraw permissions through iOS Settings or inside the App where controls are available. 5.3 Legitimate interests We may process minimal app data needed to maintain functionality, preserve local state, prevent data loss, restore data through iCloud, and keep the App reliable. 5.4 Legal obligations Apple may retain transaction-related data for tax, accounting, legal, and financial reporting obligations. This is handled by Apple. 6. Where data is stored Data may be stored: - Locally on your device - In Apple iCloud/CloudKit, if iCloud is available and enabled - In Apple StoreKit/App Store systems for subscription and purchase handling - In Apple CloudKit public database if you voluntarily join the leaderboard We do not operate a custom backend server for user accounts. 7. Data sharing We do not sell your data. Data may be processed through Apple services only when needed for app functionality: - Apple StoreKit/App Store for subscriptions and purchases - Apple iCloud/CloudKit for automatic backup, restore, and optional leaderboard features - iOS local notifications for reminders - iOS camera and photo frameworks for camera capture and selected photo access The App does not share your data with third-party advertising or analytics providers. 8. Payment, billing, subscriptions, and Apple services Payment processing, billing, subscription renewal, cancellation, taxes, pricing, refund decisions, chargebacks, regional pricing, currency conversion, offer eligibility, trial eligibility, and financial transaction handling are managed by Apple App Store and StoreKit. The developer does not process payment card details, does not store payment card details, does not control Apple’s billing systems, does not control Apple refund decisions, does not control App Store tax handling, and does not control Apple subscription cancellation or renewal systems. The developer cannot be held responsible for Apple-managed payment, billing, renewal, cancellation, refund, tax, pricing, eligibility, currency conversion, App Store account, StoreKit, or financial transaction processes. 9. Data retention Local app data remains on your device until you delete it, reset your local app profile/account data, or uninstall the App. iCloud-backed data may remain in iCloud until deleted by the App’s deletion flow or manually managed through your Apple ID/iCloud settings. Leaderboard data remains until you leave/delete/reset the related app data, after which the App attempts to remove the related CloudKit leaderboard record where technically available. Apple may retain purchase and transaction information according to Apple’s own legal and financial requirements. 10. Delete account and data reset Experience includes a local delete/reset flow. This may delete or reset: - Local profile data - Notes - To-dos - Focus history - Progress - Settings - Local subscription entitlement cache - Local leaderboard state - Supported iCloud backup data, where available Because the App does not use a custom backend account system, “Delete Account” refers to deleting the local app profile and related app data, including supported iCloud-backed data where technically possible. If your device is offline or iCloud is unavailable during deletion, iCloud deletion may not complete immediately. You can also manage iCloud-stored app data through your Apple ID/iCloud settings. 11. Apple diagnostics Experience does not use third-party crash logging or diagnostics tools. Apple may provide developers with crash or diagnostic information if you have enabled sharing diagnostics with app developers in your Apple device settings. This is controlled by Apple and your device settings. 12. User responsibility for storage and backups The App should not be used as the sole storage location for important, sensitive, legal, financial, medical, academic, business-critical, emergency, or mission-critical information. You are responsible for keeping separate backups of important data outside the App. Insufficient device storage or iCloud storage may prevent saving, backup, restore, deletion, or synchronization. You are responsible for maintaining sufficient device storage, iCloud storage, Apple ID availability, and appropriate device settings. 13. Your privacy rights Depending on your location, especially if you are in the EU/EEA/UK, you may have the right to: - Access your personal data - Correct inaccurate data - Delete your data - Restrict processing - Object to processing - Request data portability - Withdraw consent - Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority Because most data is stored locally or through your Apple iCloud account, you can manage much of it directly on your device, inside the App, or through Apple ID/iCloud settings. For privacy requests, contact: aliyigxt@icloud.com 14. Children’s privacy Experience is intended for a general audience and is not specifically directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data through the App, contact us so we can help remove it where possible. 15. Security Experience uses Apple system frameworks and local device storage mechanisms where possible. iCloud, CloudKit, StoreKit, App Store purchases, and Apple diagnostics are handled through Apple’s infrastructure. No electronic storage or transmission method is completely secure, but the App is designed to minimize data collection, avoid tracking, and avoid unnecessary third-party services. 16. Changes to this Privacy Policy We may update this Privacy Policy when the App changes, new features are added, or legal requirements change. The updated policy will show a new “Last updated” date. 17. Contact For privacy questions or data requests: Ali Yiğit Email: aliyigxt@icloud.com
